Principal's Message
On behalf of our entire staff, I thank you for visiting Glen Speck Elementary School's website, home of the Bobcats. The elementary school years are a particularly exciting time for students and our “Glen Speck Family” of staff, families and community members come together to serve each and every student in their unique needs and talents. Our school community strives to instill in each child the excitement that comes with learning, where the bar is set high and academics are aligned to the California State Standards. Our teachers and staff are highly qualified and committed to serving all aspects of each student, academically, emotionally and physically. Our Glen Speck Family, along with other schools in our district, values character development and we teach PBIS through out the district. It is as well as interwoven into our daily language and activities.
Many great things happen at our school through family and community collaboration. If you would like to be involved at Glen Speck, please consider volunteering or attending one or more of our parent group meetings: Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), and School Site Council (SSC). Dates and times are listed each month in our newsletter, as well as on this website. Many individuals also volunteer to help in the classroom and other ways here at school. I encourage you to fill out a volunteer packet during the year which is available in our school office. Your involvement makes a tremendous positive difference for students and our school. Indeed, it is one of the cornerstones of our “Glen Speck Family.”
Our Glen Speck Family is dedicated to getting to know and meet the needs of each and every student and we value your participation and input.
